Rumor: super-slim PS3 model on the way

PlayStation 3 model seems to be waiting in the wings. According to Federal Communications Commission filing spotted by Japanese site Pocket News, Sony is working on new 4000-Series PS3 model, an update on the current line 3000th

The new PS3 would be even slimmer than that, if the rumor be true.

The filing does not mention dimensions, but gamers € has heard that Sony is preparing to give slimmer PS3 model at GameStop 2012 in the next month is known. If Sony has new PS3 model in German industry event to announce, it is not the first time, and the company has done so to be.

At gamecock 2009, Sony announced the PS3 Slim, system upgrade 32 percent smaller, 36 percent lighter and uses 34 percent less power than the 2006 model launch.

A Sony representative told Game Spot, We will not comment on rumors or speculation.
