The Retro Studios Zelda Not Completely Out Of Question

The Retro Studios Zelda Not Completely Out Of Question
A Retro Studios Zelda Not Entirely Out Of The Question with IGN, Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto said that is not the transfer of sovereignty to Zelda Retro Studios is and impossible idea, but it is an unlikely one.

Retro Studios developed Metric Pc games, and the recent Donkey Kong Country Returns, so it has good track record. It sounds like Miyamoto is confident in retro ability to create a quality Zelda title, but there are factors that make it difficult to develop the game to the Nintendo team based in Japan, and retro in Austin, Texas, would.

Miyamoto told IGN; traditionally I think that the Zelda team was always in close contact with everyone who is working on Zelda game. If you were going to have to happen in the U.S. retro, this would be little difficult for them to coordinate in position. To be sure, they are employed for this kind of thing now. It would probably need to have me involved to large extent, as well, so I had to get over pretty much. I would probably still live in Texas.

Neither Nintendo nor Miyamoto tell anyone what Retro is working on at the time, but apparently the studio keeps very busy. Rumors have pointed to a new Star Fox or other entry in the Metric franchise, but its all conjecture.
