Games Capcom To Change DLC Policy For Future

Games Capcom To Change DLC Policy For Future
Playing noticed that just about all of the planned DLC Street Fighter X Tekken was already available on the disc there was a considerable amount of backlash at Capron, especially in the 12 characters that are already fixed on the disc.

The company was quick to defend the decision, saying that the decision was made for reasons of compatibility. If someone does not decide to buy the DLC, for example, they could still face these characters to play online.

The move makes sense, but the argument did little in the way to console disgruntled fans. In response to all complaints, Capron is now saying that they re-evaluate his expected on-disc DLC policy but not to see what made this revaluation anytime soon.

Over on the Capron Unity forums.

Caprom Senior VP Christian Swenson, the company listened to its fans and on how best to approach DLC in the future.

We want to assure you that we have to include your comments and as such have the process of reassessment, such as additional content is delivered in the future have begun said Swenson.

this process has just begun in the last month or so, it will be some tracks where the process began some time ago that planned for release in the coming months, for which we are not able to make changes to the way and make some of their post release content are provided.

Such a game that Swenson is referred to the Dragon's dogma that next week is due. Swenson says that some but not all, of the game DLC is already on the disc, and that the decision was early in the development process to ensure certain content has been provided.
